Repair work is in full swing at the Tatarshchinsky branch of the House of Culture of the Rasskazovsky Municipal District. The contract value exceeds 20 million rubles. The contractor replaced windows and stained glass and installed a new heating system. Interior and facade work is currently underway: replacing floors and partitions, repairing ceilings.
Almost 10 million rubles were allocated for the repair of the Sosnovsky RDK branch in the village of Pravye Lamki. Here we have to do the interior finishing, carry out electrical work, and replace the water supply and drainage system. This will improve the conditions for creative teams to practice, hold events, and also create a comfortable environment for visitors.
Large-scale work to modernize the building of the Children’s Art School in the city of Uvarovo will create a modern learning space for the development of children’s talents and creative potential. About 80 million rubles have been allocated for this.
“Thanks to the national project “Culture”, rural cultural institutions are receiving new life. This means that residents of the outback receive equal opportunities with city residents for access to cultural values and for self-development. We are not only improving the infrastructure of the cultural sector, but also preparing professional personnel for cultural institutions,” notes the Head of the Tambov Region, Maxim Egorov.
The Tambov region is actively implementing the national project “Culture,” which was initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2019. Over the course of 5 years, six regional and municipal children’s art schools, a museum, and 15 rural cultural centers were reconstructed and overhauled. 12 regional and municipal museums are technically equipped. Automobile clubs appeared in three municipal districts, modern cinema halls appeared in nine settlements, and virtual concert halls appeared in eight municipalities. 16 model libraries have been opened. 17 children’s art schools are equipped with musical instruments, equipment and educational materials. More than 1,500 cultural specialists improved their qualifications.
Plans for this year, in addition to major renovations of cultural institutions, include the creation of two virtual concert halls: on the basis of the Zherdevskaya and Morshanskaya children’s art schools. It is also planned to equip two museums: the Museum of History and Local Lore of the Bondarsky Municipal District and the Tambov Regional Museum of Local Lore. The central library of the Tokarevsky municipal district will become a model. And a Cultural Development Center will be built in Tambov. 382.2 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes, which is 166.8 million more than in the previous year.
Let us remind you that in 2023, according to the national project “Culture“Three model libraries were opened, seven museums were technically equipped, a major overhaul was carried out at the Inzhavinsky cultural and leisure center and at the Inzhavinsky children’s music school, six children’s music schools were equipped with new musical instruments, and a cinema in the Staroyurievsky municipal district was refurbished. Mobile multifunctional centers have appeared in Nikiforovsky and Staroyurievsky municipal districts.
