The capital’s police officers met with students of the International College of Technology “ROSBIOTECH” and discussed the topic of combating remote fraud.
In order to prevent remote fraud, police officers had a conversation with a student at the ROSBIOTECH International College of Technology, located in the Sokol district of Moscow. During the meeting, the head of the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Northern Administrative District of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow, Lieutenant Colonel of the Internal Service Natalya Anashkina, told the children about the main goal of the event, which is aimed at preventing and preventing fraudulent actions committed in the field of IT technologies. The speaker warned about the dangers that may befall users of social networks and, using specific examples, explained how to avoid this.
The head of the department for combating crimes committed remotely, the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Northern Administrative District of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow, Police Major Seraphim Shorin, told the children about current fraudulent schemes with the help of which attackers can involve minors in criminal activities for their own selfish purposes.
A specialist in the field of solving crimes committed in the field of IT technologies told the children about measures and methods of protection from fraudsters, about the methods that criminals resort to when committing their illegal acts.
Police officers told those present in detail about the types of fraud and how to prevent their loved ones from being deceived, reminding them to be vigilant and attentive when using cellular communications and the Internet.
