The Hydrometeorological Center told what May 2024 will be like

May 2024 will be full of surprises, and not always pleasant ones. According to Roman Vilfand, head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, according to all calculations, very sharp temperature fluctuations are expected throughout the month.

Waves of abnormal heat will be replaced by cold ones, and this will affect all regions of the country. On average, the temperature in May will correspond to the climate norm.

As for precipitation, in most of Russia it will be near normal; a deficit is possible in the Volga district, the south of the Central and Ural districts.
