The online Tambov.ru news agency sums up the results of the day and publishes a selection of the most important and interesting news for Friday, April 26.

April 26 is the Day of Participants in Liquidation of the Consequences of Radiation Accidents and Disasters and the Day of Remembrance of Their Victims. More than 2 thousand Tambov residents took part in eliminating the consequences of the accident, more than half of them became disabled. Today in Tambov a funeral meeting was held at the monument to the “Victims of Nuclear Disasters”.

JSC Tambov Grid Company owes more than 159 million rubles in payments to the budget. Such data is posted in the Transparent Business system of the Federal Tax Service of Russia. The amount of tax debts of TSK JSC is given as of February 10 and will be updated on May 10. Since November last year, the debt has increased by almost 44 million rubles, or 38%.

In May, the payment schedule for child benefits and pensions will change. Tambov residents will receive child benefits for April on May 3. The following will be transferred to bank cards: a unified allowance for children under 17 years of age and pregnant women, a childcare allowance for children up to 1.5 years old for unemployed parents, a monthly payment in connection with the birth (adoption) of the first child, social support measures transferred from social protection.

On April 28, seasonal route No. 28 “Ryleeva – Magistralnaya – House of Veterans” will begin operating. Buses will be operated daily. In addition, the schedule of route No. 10 “Central Market – Veterans’ House” has been adjusted.

The exhibition “Under the Sign of the Turquoise Dragon” (0+) opened at the Tambov Regional Art Gallery. The exhibition is dedicated to the Year of China in Russia, which has been announced for 2024. The art gallery presents exhibitions by one of the most famous artists working in the traditions of Chinese art, Anna Donchenko and her student Natalia Egorova.
