Russian Guards detained a man suspected of illegal drug possession in Moscow

Private security officers of the Main Directorate of the Russian Guard in Moscow detained a citizen on suspicion of possession of narcotic substances.

Following along Dmitrovskoye Highway, employees of the Russian Guard drew attention to a man who was digging in the ground. Law enforcement officers decided to check this citizen. During the conversation, the 46-year-old Muscovite explained that he had just picked up a package with a narcotic substance from the ground and hid it in his shoes. The offender was detained and handed over to the police.

During the investigation, it was established that the contents of the seized package were methadone, and the man had already been charged under a similar article.
