Every year in Russia on the eve of Victory Day, the All-Russian event “Garden of Memory” is held, the goal of which is to plant trees in memory of everyone who died during the Great Patriotic War. Saratov police traditionally support the action.

Thus, in the village of Mikhailovka, Gagarinsky district, PDN inspectors, together with members of the public law enforcement movement “Young Friends of the Police”, planted tree seedlings on the territory of a local school. Participants in the action noted that each tree is a symbol of memory of the defenders of the Motherland and gratitude to the current generation, and joint actions to plant and care for plantings are a symbol of unity at any time.

Also taking part in the action were police officers from the Volzhsky district, who, together with young assistants, beautified the area adjacent to school No. 9, planting seedlings and flowers on it. On the eve of Victory Day, the action will be held in other areas of the regional center.
