The Tula FPV repeater began to be used in the northwestern region

--

The universal FPV repeater, developed in Tula, began to be used by the Russian military in the Northern Military District zone in Ukraine, said the creator of the kamikaze UAV “Gadfly” Andrei Ivanov in an interview with RIA Novosti.

It is noted that the device allows the drone operator to work from any position at an unlimited range. The repeater, according to him, is designed “as a conventionally wired-wireless one.”

“Between the outside and the inside there is a 33-meter cable that allows the FPV drone operator to work from cover, and a wireless part that also allows us to go even further if our position is open. This is conditionally some kind of neighboring forest belt and so on. That is, the range here is not limited,” the expert explained.

The developer called the system a universal solution for working both in closed positions in the city, and in open ones, where soldiers can remain safe. The device also has a signal conversion system.

“This way we achieve versatility. This device is new, and right now we are producing up to ten products a day… These repeaters are already used in the North-West region,” summed up Andrey Ivanov.
