During the May holidays, the TPU swimming pool and library will be open for Tomsk residents

The swimming pool and gym of the university (Savinykh St., 5) will be closed to the public only on May 1 and 9. On other days, the sports and recreation complex will be open from 07.00 to 23.00. Last entry into the pool is at 21.30, into the gym at 22.00, and exit from the gym and pool at 22.30.

To visit the complex you must have a swimsuit or swimming trunks, a swimming cap, slippers, a washcloth, solid soap, a towel and a bag for outdoor shoes. A medical certificate for admission is issued by the pool staff on site.

On pre-holiday days – from April 28 to April 30 – only a 24-hour reading room will be open in the Scientific and Technical Library of the university (Belinskogo St., 53a). On April 30 it will be open until 20.00. During the May holidays, the library’s rooms, including 24-hour rooms, will be available for visiting from May 2 to May 8 (the library will be open until 20.00 on May 8). On Victory Day the library will be closed, and from May 10 to 12 it will reopen its doors, but only to the 24-hour library. Starting May 13, the entire library will return to normal operating hours.
