Bryansk Airport has been closed since February 24, 2022 due to a special military operation in Ukraine. They took advantage of the downtime to repair the air harbor.
The runway has already been completely renovated, a new passenger apron has been built, and markings have been applied. Local treatment facilities and a drainage system have been installed. The command and control tower building is being repaired.
It has now become known that repairs to the airport entrance near the village of Oktyabrskoye are planned. The work will be completed by the end of 2028. 28 million rubles will be spent on repairs.
The new Bryansk air terminal will be able to serve 600 passengers per hour.
