The ensemble “Russian Song” and the People’s Artist of Russia presented a cover version of a popular composition from the repertoire of Instasamka (Daria Zoteeva). A video recording of the band’s performance during a concert at VDNKh in Moscow was published by the telegram channel “Radiotochka NSN”.
The ensemble rethought the song “For money – yes”; the version of “Russian Song” is called “For the gusli – yes”.
Among other things, the text contains the following lines:
“For money – no, for harp – yes. This is me in the bathhouse, this is where I rest. I love an oak broom and I don’t hide it. Everyone in my ensemble doesn’t notice themselves. They see my kokoshnik and repeat: for Gucci – no, for the gusli – yes.”
So far, Instasamka has not responded to the cover of her song.
As reported EADaily, at the end of 2023, Instasamka became “Artist of the Year” according to VK Music. Her hit “For Money – Yes” was listened to 140 million times, and in total the track received more than 600 million plays.
