Peskov did not rule out that the United States supplied long-range missiles to Kyiv, violating its own laws

Moscow. 25th of April. INTERFAX.RU – The security buffer territory in the Northern Military District zone will expand if the range of weapons supplied to Ukraine increases, said Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.

In an interview with Pavel Zarubin, a fragment of which the journalist posted on his Telegram channel, Peskov commented on the secret supply of long-range missiles to Kyiv.

“With such weapons, Ukraine will end up hurting more, and there will be more casualties in Ukraine. There will be more destruction in Ukraine, because, as Putin said, if the range of weapons increases, the sanitary, security buffer zone will expand, whatever you want to call it, which will be required in order to secure our territory and our citizens,” Peskov said.

He stressed that the United States continues to add fuel to the fire, “possibly violating its own legislation, and once again confirms its direct involvement in this conflict.”

“There is a very interesting aspect in this situation. After all, at the moment when, apparently, these deliveries had already been carried out, the bill had not yet become law, it had not entered into force, accordingly, I would not exclude the possibility that those who made such a decision and implemented this decision, they violated the domestic legislation of the United States of America,” said the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, noting that some congressmen will probably wonder whether everything was done legally.

At the same time, Peskov noted that these supplies will not change anything. “They will not be able to change anything from the point of view of the outcome of a special military operation, the outcome is a foregone conclusion, and the current dynamics of the situation on the fronts demonstrate this. We will win,” Peskov said.
