Russian President Vladimir Putin pointed out the importance of maintaining interethnic harmony in the country. At the same time, he noted that Russia’s competitive advantage, compared to other countries, is cultural diversity.

“I ask all legislators to pay special attention to issues of interethnic harmony and civil peace. We always talk about this, the diversity of ethnic groups, traditions, and cultures of our country is, of course, our common heritage and competitive advantage,” the president emphasized at a meeting of the Council of Legislators of the Russian Federation, adding that all these are not empty words. The event is broadcast on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
