On the day of the 38th anniversary of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in the USSR, developers from the GSC Game World studio presented a new trailer for their post-apocalyptic open-world shooter STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

Debuting on Chinese streaming platform Bilibili, the 50-second trailer is titled “This Is Not Heaven” and shows clips from the intro videos along with several locations, including Pripyat.
“Here you can find everything, Skif. Friends, enemies, money, death. Miracle. Even yourself”,” a character named Richter instructs the protagonist of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
All previous trailers for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl were shown with English dubbing, but the new video features Ukrainian dubbing. The video is provided with subtitles in Russian.
Along with the new video, the developers of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl showed a selection of fresh 4K screenshots – the frames attached below are taken directly from the trailer.
The authors of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl promise a unique post-apocalyptic world, a non-linear plot with consequences of decisions made and multiple endings, hardcore gameplay and graphics on Unreal Engine 5.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be released on September 5, 2024 simultaneously on PC (Steam, GOG, EGS, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X and S, as well as Game Pass. Pre-orders are open, but not in Russia.
