Mostovoy explained why he likes Slishkovic more than Abascal

Alexander Mostovoy spoke about the new coach of Spartak Vladimir Slishkovich.

• The club fired Guillermo Abascal on April 14.
• Slishkovic became acting head coach.
• Under his leadership, Spartak played a draw with Zenit (0:0) and defeated Rostov (5:1).

“I like that Sliskovich behaves calmly, modestly and without pathos, which we saw from the former Spartak coach. This is how a coach should behave.

It’s too early to say whether I like Sliskovich’s Spartak. Everyone understands that this is most likely temporary. But his behavior is normal and football-like,” Mostovoy said.
