Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino tried to explain the failure of his team – the “pensioners” lost to Arsenal with a score of 0:5.
“It’s not hard to explain. Everyone saw that we did not fight from the first minutes of the game. After the first goal we conceded, I think the team became too soft. I am disappointed. We were not aggressive and concentrated.
The team has demonstrated an inability to resist, that’s the problem. Arsenal are a very good team. But I think we allowed them to play like that. We gave the opponent every opportunity to play and create chances. That’s why we’re disappointed – not only with the result, but also with the game itself. We are too unstable,” Pochettino told BBC Match of the Day.
