Former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher spoke about Jurgen Klopp’s team’s defeat by Everton in the rescheduled match of the 29th round of the English Championship. The Reds lost with a score of 0:2.
“This is the end of the title race for Liverpool. It was Everton’s night and the Reds must accept defeat,” Carragher said on Sky Sports.
After this failure, Jurgen Klopp’s team remained in second place in the English Premier League standings with 74 points. The Merseysiders are three points behind leaders Arsenal. Liverpool’s next match will be against London’s West Ham on April 27.
