EVE Online Expansion: Equinox Releases June 11th, EVE Vanguard Receives Major Feature Update

CCP Games has announced EVE Online: Equinox, the next MMO expansion, scheduled for release on June 11th.

Key features of EVE Online: Equinox:

• Harnessing the Rich Resources of the Zero Sector

• Customize your in-game identity with the new SKINR spaceship tool

• New ships and technologies to control the space of the zero sector

• Extraction of planetary resources, solar energy and cloned labor

• Ability to create, customize and sell your own ship skins

• Improvements to company management and an expanded learning path for new players

• Optimized interface of the Corporation window and new ways to contribute to projects

• Improvements to the AIR career system for new pilots

In addition to EVE Online: Equinox, CCP also discussed the next major feature update coming to the in-development sandbox first-person shooter EVE Vanguard.

Omega accounts that have access to Vanguard will see the introduction of a new exotic card, weapon modifications, and new activities. Players will have the opportunity to change their playstyle with adaptive weapons, take on new contracts, and search the ruins of an archipelago facility amid polluted waters.
