Fans of Helldivers 2 who pre-ordered faced discrimination. Gamers have started a hunt for them and are deliberately shooting them

Many modern publishers stimulate pre-orders with various bonuses. The popular cooperative action game Helldivers 2 was no exception in this regard.

Those who pre-order Helldivers 2 will receive exclusive cosmetic items. Soon after the release, the game took off and its popularity skyrocketed. Before the launch of the project, a noticeable part of the gaming community did not make a big bet, so this cosmetics, in a sense, became a rarity.

There are people in the Helldivers 2 community who are very upset that they missed out on the pre-order bonus. They began to purposefully shoot players using such rare items.

The scale of the problem reached such a level that the authors of Helldivers 2 had to ask https://twitter.com/helldivers2/status/1782514028062912790 such a bad practice (shooting players with armor in the style of a frozen yogurt seller):

“Super-Earth High Command has learned that official SUMY Corporation frozen yogurt vendors have been the target of a deliberate attack on the battlefield. This person is your friend! He fights for your freedom, and a frosty treat.”
