Wacom introduced the first interactive OLED display – 13-inch Movink worth $750

Wacom has introduced a 13-inch graphics tablet with pen input, Wacom Movink. The manufacturer claims that this is the thinnest and lightest interactive tablet in its product range.

Wacom Movink is only 4mm thick at its thinnest part (6.6mm at its thickest). The device weighs 420 grams. The new product is 55% lighter and 66% thinner than the Wacom One 13 touch. The overall dimensions of the Wacom Movink tablet are 319.5 × 205.2 × 4 ~6.6 mm.

Wacom Movink offers easy connection to Mac, PC, or ChromeOS and Android devices via USB Type-C. The second same USB Type-C can be used to connect devices that require additional power.

For the first time on a Wacom interactive tablet, Movink uses a 13.3-inch OLED display from Samsung with support for a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Screen brightness is 350 cd/m2, and the contrast ratio is 100,000:1. It claims 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and 95% coverage of the Adobe RGB palette. The display is Pantone Validated and Pantone SkinTone Validated, producing a wider range of colors with increased brightness and clarity compared to previous displays.

The tablet has two physical customizable buttons. Which can be used for touch on/off, and can also be customized to perform panning, scrolling, zooming and brush size functions, for example.

The new product supports pen input and also provides support for 10-finger touch input. The device is compatible with the latest Wacom Pro Pen 3, which supports 8192 pressure levels. However, thanks to Dual Pen Technology, the Wacom Movink tablet can also be used with many other pens, both from Wacom itself (such as the Wacom Pro Pen 2) and styluses based on universal digital pen technology from brands such as Dr. Grip Digital for Wacom, Lamy or Staedtler.

Various additional accessories are also available for the new product. For example, for Wacom Movink you can purchase the Wacom Foldable Stand for $80, as well as the ExpressKey Remote for $90. The manufacturer offers several sets of nibs for the Wacom Pro Pen 3 electronic pen.

The Wacom Movink interactive tablet is priced at $750.
