Many gamers have already been waiting for the release of the updated edition of the cult horror game Silent Hill 2, which was created by the Polish studio Bloober Team. The project was announced back in October 2022, but even after almost two years, there was practically no increase in information about the remake. Recently, the Internet drew attention to the update of the game’s page in digital stores, and it seems that this was not just the case. The developers of the new Silent Hill 2 have confirmed that they will soon share with us fresh news and, probably, a release date.
In a recent interview, Bloober Team CEO Petr Babieno again reminded players that his team is responsible for direct development. On their part, the project has long been ready for public demonstration, judging by his words, and for release too. Now everything depends on Konami and the plans of the Japanese publisher. However, the studio director can now assure players that the tedious wait for news about the remake will soon come to an end.
Bloober Team is in the final stages of polishing the Silent Hill 2 remake and is already thinking about post-release support. According to Babieno, new information about the game, along with the announcement of its release date, will be made public in the coming months. Most likely, at the PlayStation game presentation in late May or early June, a story trailer for the game will be shown, which will also bring the release date on PC and consoles.
