Five years later, Alsou apologized for her daughter’s “victory” in the show “The Voice.Children”

Alsou Abramova (Safina) announced her desire to “publicly apologize” for cheating votes in favor of her daughter at the song competition “The Voice. Children”.

The singer discussed the five-year-old scandal on Natalia Podolskaya’s YouTube channel.

Let us recall that in 2019 the public doubted that the victory of Alsou Mikella’s daughter in the final of the sixth season of the show “The Voice.Children” was deserved, and the Abramov family was accused of vote rigging.

Group-IB’s investigation revealed cheating of votes and the use of bots in favor of the participant with the number under which Alsou’s daughter competed.

The singer explained her action by saying that as a mother she felt a huge responsibility to her daughter, but did not calculate her fame.

At that moment, Alsou admits, she didn’t think about anything, but just wanted to help her child, like other mothers who called relatives and asked to vote:

“We just all love our children and want to help them as much as we can.”

“And anyone in your place would have done exactly the same,” said the host of the program, Natalya Podolskaya, the wife of singer Vladimir Presnyakov Jr.

Alsou admits that she took advantage of her popularity, but “apparently, she didn’t calculate it.” This was unfair to other parents who did not have two million subscribers, the singer points out.

“I want to publicly apologize. <�…> It was wrong on my part. <�…> I want to apologize to Mikella and to everyone else, to say that it has already happened the way it happened,” says Alsou.

After a scandal with cheating of votes, Channel One annulled the result of the final of the show “The Voice.Children” with the participation of Abramova and changed the voting rules in the show “The Voice”.

The fact of vote cheating was established by the international cybersecurity company Group-IB. According to her data, about 300 telephone numbers were involved – with one tariff and belonging to one operator. More than eight thousand messages were sent from these numbers, which were no longer available at the time of the investigation.

Alsou at first said that the children were drawn into “some kind of games,” but in the end she still admitted to buying votes for her daughter. True, we were talking about only 40 paid SMS, which the singer sent and asked all her relatives to vote for her, which is not prohibited by the rules.

After this, the management of Channel One made an unexpected decision: to cancel the results of the vote and not to re-hold it.
