Moscow helps entrepreneurs adapt to legal innovations in the field of trade. The Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Moscow Department of Trade and Services Alexey Nemeryuk spoke about this.

According to the minister, legislation in the field of trade is changing and improving in the interests of the consumer – this applies to the sale of alcoholic beverages and goods with mandatory labeling.

“It is important for the city to create the most favorable working conditions for the capital’s business, because we are interested in its development. The Department of Trade and Services conducts seminars, consultations, and various preventive measures. In some cases, we print and distribute information materials, where we explain in simple language what exactly entrepreneurs need to do to avoid becoming violators,” said Alexey Nemeryuk.

This year, the Department of State Control of the department has already held four in-person seminars for entrepreneurs who sell alcoholic beverages in different parts of Moscow. In addition, employees of the capital’s Department of Trade and Services regularly conduct video consultations for businesses faced with alcohol regulation issues and visit enterprises on preventive visits.

“Assistance to business from the city allows entrepreneurs to comply with all the rules of the law, while consumers can be sure that their rights will not be violated or limited, and that the goods they purchase in Moscow stores are of high quality and tested,” emphasized Alexey Nemeryuk.
