Rostov region, April 24, 2024. DON24.RU. In Rostov, 126 fires of garbage and dry grass occurred over four and a half months. The city administration spoke about fines, bans, and security measures.

The fire season began in the Rostov region on April 2. The administration reminded about the prohibitions to prevent fires. Prohibited:

  • make fires, use devices with open flames and smoldering materials, carry out all types of work using open fire and sparking;
  • burn dry vegetation and garbage in the forest, on the streets, adjacent areas, in summer cottages, near bushes, trees and wooden buildings;
  • burn dry grass in the fields and reeds along the banks of reservoirs;
  • Throw unextinguished cigarettes and matches into the grass and trash cans.

The administration also called on parents Monitor children closely, explain to them the dangers of open fire, store matches, candles, lighters, flammable liquids in inaccessible places, prohibit children from independently conducting chemical experiments and other tests with flammable liquids and materials, and also teach them fire safety rules.

“Burning dry vegetation, burning garbage, including fallen leaves, cuttings of trees or shrubs, other vegetation residues, as well as production and consumption waste, if this act does not contain signs of administrative offenses provided for in Articles 8.2, 8.32, 11.16, 20.4 of the Russian Code Federation on administrative offenses, entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of 2,500 to 4,500 rubles; for officials – from 25 thousand to 45 thousand rubles; for legal entities – from 60 thousand to 100 thousand rubles,”the source reports.

In addition, failure or improper implementation of measures to prevent the burning of dry vegetation established by regulatory legal acts of the Rostov region entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of 1000 to 3000 rubles, on officials – from 10 thousand to 25 thousand rubles, on legal entities – from 20 thousand to 50 thousand rubles.

All cases of fire must be reported immediately to 112!
