The final of the regional competition of pedagogical excellence was held in Kaluga

Today, April 24, the final stage of the annual regional professional skills competition “I Found My Calling in Pedagogy” took place in Kaluga.

15 education workers in five categories reached the finals. The final part of the competition is a round table with the Minister of Education and Science of the region, Alexander Anikeev. The finalists were faced with the task of competently and comprehensively answering pressing questions related to the teaching profession. In a dialogue with the minister, the competition participants showed how they understand the problems associated with the modern education system and the ability to quickly find effective solutions.

“Participation in the competition is not only an excellent way for teachers to present themselves, but also to represent their educational organization. This is also an opportunity to break out of your usual activities in order to show your best professional qualities at the regional level,”

– noted Alexander Anikeev.

In each of the five nominations, a winner will be identified who will represent the region in the competition at the all-Russian level. The winners of the regional stage will be determined tomorrow, April 25.

The annual regional competition “I found my calling in pedagogy…” is held in five categories: “Best Teacher”, “Best Educator”, “Best Educational Psychologist”, “Best Young Teacher” (age – up to 30 years), “Best Teacher additional education”. The jury of the competition included managers and specialists of the Kaluga State Institute for Educational Development (KGIRO).
