The buildings of the Sistema plant on Lower Lake in Kaliningrad were put up for auction

In Kaliningrad, the buildings of the Sistema plant on Lower Lake were put up for sale. Information about this was published on the website of the “Remote Trading Center”.

The properties at 83 Klinicheskaya Street were put up for sale by the bankruptcy trustee as part of the bankruptcy proceedings of Sistema OJSC. The real estate list includes a four-story administrative building with an area of ​​4.8 thousand square meters. It is recognized as a cultural heritage monument and belongs to the ensemble of the city hospital of the 19th century.

Together with it they are selling two industrial buildings with an area of ​​3.8 and 2.4 thousand square meters, a workshop – 2.7 thousand square meters, a transformer substation, a compressor room and a walk-through. The buyer will receive the rights of a co-tenant of the land plot on Klinicheskaya Street until 2048.

The initial price of the property complex is 156.3 million rubles. The winner of the competition will be determined on June 7.

In 2020, the city emergency commission recognized the buildings on Lower Lake as unsafe. The path along the embankment from the maternity hospital to the bridge closest to the cascade was blocked with a fence. The authorities promise to remove it when the owners dismantle dangerous objects. The Kaliningrad administration expects the sale of the buildings of the former plant.

“We are waiting for an owner to appear there, with whom the administration will begin a dialogue about how this territory, which is located in the center of Kaliningrad, will be put into circulation,” commented the head of the city administration, Elena Dyatlova.

Sistema went bankrupt in the early 2000s. Since then, the bankruptcy trustee has changed several times, and the courts have been going on for more than 15 years. The authorities planned to independently demolish the dangerous objects and take the land plot into city ownership.
