A former traffic police inspector accused of taking a bribe was sentenced in Tula. This was reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office.

It was established that in October 2023, the accused received a bribe in the amount of ten thousand rubles from a moped driver for failure to draw up a report on the commission of an administrative offense.

It is noted that the former traffic police inspector did not admit his guilt.

The court sentenced the man to a fine of 80 thousand rubles; in addition, he was deprived of the right to hold positions in the law enforcement system related to the exercise of functions of an executive and organizational and administrative powers for two years.
