As the press service of the governor and regional government reported, the Arkada corrugated cardboard production enterprise from Przemysl received a loan from the Industrial Development Fund in the amount of 166 million rubles to purchase equipment that will help increase the company’s production capacity.
“Arcade” is a participant in the national project “Labor Productivity”. In the Kaluga region, the operator of the national project is the Regional Competence Center (RCC), operating on the basis of the Business Development Agency. After training in the basics of lean manufacturing, the working group successfully completed the “Process Factory”, where they showed the best results among enterprises. On the basis of the Business Development Agency, internal trainers from among the company’s employees were trained, and information centers were launched. The potential economic effect from the implementation of measures amounted to more than 19 million rubles per year.
To support the changes, Arcade management did a lot of work to prepare the necessary documentation for obtaining a loan.
The Industrial Development Fund offers preferential terms for financing projects aimed at the development of new high-tech products, import substitution, leasing of production equipment, machine tool construction, digitalization of existing production facilities, production of high-tech civilian or dual-use products by defense industry enterprises, production of components, labeling of goods and increasing labor productivity.
“We managed to participate in the program under favorable conditions for us – at 1%. Thanks to the equipment that is awaiting payment in China, we will launch a new workshop. Thus, we will be able to double the volume of production and relieve lines that are currently overloaded. The production time for boxes will become even shorter. We will also be able to launch four-color printing: only a few such packaging are produced in our country,”

The company is a large manufacturer of cardboard packaging and corrugated packaging. The group of companies that have repeatedly received state support within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises” in the “My Business” center (operates on the basis of the Business Development Agency) includes such brands as: Mister Korobkin, PizzaKorob, SushiKorob, Razdelyaika.
Products manufactured by the plant are supplied throughout Russia and neighboring CIS countries. The company has its own production facilities for the production of cardboard packaging, corrugated cardboard and components for corrugated packaging. Arkada is at the final stage of implementing its own IT system for production management, which will also allow it to increase volumes exponentially and automate routine processes, which will further help replicate successful experience at other production sites and at the same time increase labor productivity in the country.
