The Kurgan region took part in the XXVI International Spring Exhibition-Fair of Tourist Services “LEISURE-2024”, which was held in April in Minsk. There, the Kurgan Regional Museum Association signed a cooperation agreement with the National Tourism Agency of the Republic of Belarus.
– As part of the development of equal and mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of tourism through national and regional tourism associations, societies, firms and enterprises, supporting their initiatives aimed at the effective development of tourism resources, between the state institution “National Tourism Agency” (Republic of Belarus) and State Autonomous Institution “Kurgan Regional Museum Association” signed a cooperation agreement, – reported in Department of Culture in the Kurgan Region.
At a round table within the framework of the exhibition, tourist and excursion groups discussed the topic of exchange between the Republic of Belarus and the Kurgan region. Its main goal is mutually beneficial contacts between the youth of friendly countries. In addition, we also talked about creating new tourism products.
“Soon tourists from the Republic of Belarus will have more reasons to get acquainted with different corners of the Trans-Urals, and our travelers will have more reasons to visit their neighbors!,” said the region’s cultural department.
At the end of last year, the number of Belarusian tourists doubled.
