The decision to turn off the heat was made at an operational meeting in the regional government.
– On May 2 we end the heating season in the region. We will act step by step. Let’s start with apartment buildings. The second stage is social facilities: medical, educational, social institutions,” said Governor Mikhail Evraev.
After the end of the heating season, preventive and repair work will begin at heating networks, thermal power plants and boiler houses to prepare facilities for the next winter.
In addition, the construction and conversion of boiler houses in the Yaroslavl region to gas will continue. In two years, 17 heating supply structures were built and re-equipped in the region, with another 23 planned for 2024.
This work is planned in Yaroslavl, Pereslavl-Zalessky, as well as in the Rybinsk, Yaroslavl, Lyubimsky, Rostov and Tutaevsky regions. It is carried out under the regional program “Gasification of housing and communal services, industrial and other organizations of the Yaroslavl region.”
The use of blue fuel is more economical and environmentally friendly than coal or fuel oil.
