Klychkov introduced the accused Alekhine to the veterinary safety commission

Governor Andrei Klychkov updated the composition of the commission to ensure the epizootic welfare of the Oryol region on especially dangerous and quarantine animal diseases. Orlovskiye Novosti reviewed the document.

Evgeny Alekhin, head of the department of environmental supervision and environmental management, joined the commission. The piquancy of the situation lies in the fact that Alekhine is a defendant in a criminal case for abuse of power and is now under a court preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions.

This fact did not bother the head of the region. However, Andrei Klychkov does not betray himself here. It may be recalled that before the guilty verdict was pronounced, the governor did not dismiss the head of the Housing and Communal Services Department, Denis Blokhin, putting, for example, security officials in an awkward position, who were forced to attend official events with the official and shake his hand. Alekhine, judging by the official portal of the regional government, also remains the head of the department.

The mayor of Orel, Yuri Parakhin, is also involved in the “road to the mother-in-law’s house” case, and also continues to hold his post.

At the same time, of course, in accordance with Russian legislation, every person under investigation is considered innocent until the court rules otherwise. Although all-Russian practice shows that when it comes to suspicions against state and municipal employees, the very fact of suspicion of violations often becomes the basis for at least the dismissal of these employees from office. After all, the situation itself casts a shadow on the authority of the authorities.

A criminal case against Evgeniy Alekhin was initiated in January of this year. He is accused of two counts of abuse of power, which are related to giving illegal orders to the hunting inspector not to draw up reports for violating the rules of hunting for Alekhine’s acquaintances. The FLB publication wrote that one of the episodes is connected specifically with Yuri Parakhin.
