More than 51 million rubles have been allocated for the renovation of the Center for Curative Pedagogy and Differentiated Education in Tambov. This is one of 27 school buildings where major renovations began this year.
According to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Tambov Region, repair work at the Center for Curative Pedagogy and Differentiated Education is planned to be completed this year. The contractor is currently dismantling the roof and plastering the walls. The next stage is replacing the electrical wiring.
— The work is proceeding strictly according to schedule in accordance with the approved project documentation. The ministry’s commission controls every stage of the work,” said Sergei Susorov, Deputy Minister, Head of the Department for Resource Support of Project Activities of the Ministry of Education and Science of the region.
117 children are receiving education at the Center for Curative Pedagogy and Differentiated Education. During the period of major repairs, some are studying in another building of the Center, the rest of the children, for medical reasons and in agreement with their parents, are studying remotely.
The Center for Curative Pedagogy and Differentiated Education is a unique educational institution. Special conditions have been created here for children with disabilities to receive general education, and assistance is also provided in the upbringing and education of children from families in difficult life situations.
Let us recall that the presidential program “Modernizing school education systems“started in 2022. Over the two years of implementation of the program, 25 school buildings were renovated in the region. In the next three years, from 2024 to 2026 inclusive, 41 school buildings will be overhauled in the Tambov region for a total amount of more than 4 billion rubles.
