Mayor Sergei Shelest reported in his Telegram channel that city cemeteries are preparing for Radonitsa. Let us remind you that this year Parents’ Day falls on May 14th.
The head of the city said that now employees of the Special Services Plant are painting benches and whitewashing curbs, repairing and sanitizing stationary toilets. On the eve of Radonitsa and on Parents’ Day, Omsk residents will be able to receive entrenching tools, sand and industrial water. Afterwards, the collected garbage will be removed from the cemeteries. The municipality entered into a corresponding agreement with the relocation operator for 23.4 million rubles. It is planned to send 14 thousand cubic meters of waste to landfills.
