This is part of a comprehensive program to support military personnel and their families, media learned44.

The governor’s program of benefits for SVO participants combines mechanisms of psychological and medical assistance, social support for families, employment, education, support in solving everyday issues, allocation of land plots, assistance with housing and much more.

One of the measures – free attendance at after-school groups in regional and municipal educational organizations – concerns the education of all children whose fathers are now defending the interests of the Motherland.

Ekaterina Krivitskaya, advisor to the director of education at secondary school No. 38 in Kostroma:

“Children whose parents are SVO participants already go to after-school programs at our school organized by the Ecosphere, everything is free. This approach is a very important measure with the participation of the school and additional education in the upbringing and education of children of SVO participants. Including them in active activities through communication with others children and adults – one of the ways to help the families of SVO participants in overcoming educational difficulties. It is important that children have competent leisure time and at the same time free of charge – this is a special category, we must support such families.”
