The “Garden of Memory” campaign continues.
On the territory of the forest fund of the Oleninsky district in the Central district forestry of the Staritsky forestry on an area of 10.4 hectares, 33 thousand 280 spruce seedlings were planted per day. According to the Ministry of Forestry of the Tver Region, employees of the forest plot tenant, Exot CJSC, took part in the planting.

Over the course of a year, more than 25 million trees will be planted in the Tver region.
According to the state forest inventory, 4.9 billion trees grow in the Tver region. The total forest area is close to 5 million hectares. Forests occupy more than half of the region’s territory.
The Tver region participated in the All-Russian action “Save the Forest”, which took place in September and October of this year. In autumn, 1,554,134 trees were planted in forests, parks and squares in the region.
