In Ivanovo, a man with a gun threatened a teenager

On Tuesday, an Ivanovo resident contacted our editorial office; he wished to remain anonymous. A man sent a video to Bars showing an unknown person walking around the city with a gun and threatening passers-by. The brawler himself filmed all this on camera. He has now been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. A man threatening passersby films himself on video. Points a gun at a young guy, talks rudely, insults him for his appearance. Once he even shoots to the side.

Investigators will later establish that the rowdy’s opponent was a 15-year-old teenager. Fortunately, he was not injured. This is what an anonymous eyewitness said, who contacted our editorial office and sent this video.

“The man with the gun is called Dmitry, he is 48 years old. Participated in a special operation and was wounded. After the hospital, the fighter was allegedly returned to the front line, but now he is in Ivanovo. Dmitry has a combat pistol, a Saiga rifle, and a grenade with him. He has been walking around the city in an inadequate state, threatening people for several months now. Clings to any reason.”

It turned out that we talked about this man in the summer of 2022. Dmitry terrorized his ex-wife, citing the desire to communicate with the child. He started rows, broke windows, broke cars, wrote insults and threats on the house.

We managed to contact the woman. According to her, her ex-husband was deprived of parental rights. She repeatedly wrote statements to the police. She warned: the man was dangerous, walking around the city with a firearm. Later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified: the rowdy was detained on the evening of April 22 near the house on 7th Lineiny Lane.

“A TT pistol, manufactured industrially, was found on the man, as well as hunting cartridges intended for use in hunting rifled firearms. The defendant has previously been repeatedly prosecuted. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – illegal possession of weapons. The man was placed under arrest in a temporary detention facility. Police officers are dealing with the detainee and establishing his possible involvement in other illegal acts.”

As for the incident in the video, no police report was filed. However, investigators established the identities of all participants in this incident. Police officers worked with them. In the near future, investigators will interrogate the detainee. The regional investigative committee opened a criminal case of hooliganism committed against a teenager. Another criminal case of illegal possession of weapons was also transferred by the police to the Investigative Committee. They will be combined into one production.
