They said goodbye to the serviceman at the Zhukov Academy of the East Kazakhstan region.

On August 1, a farewell ceremony was held in Tver for Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Lutsko, who died in the line of duty during a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine.

Andrei Lutsko was born in Chernigov, graduated from high school in the village of Khotilovo in the Bologovsky district of the Tver region, at his father’s place of work. After he graduated from the Voronezh Higher Military Aviation Engineering School, he was sent to serve in Tver in the military process support regiment at the Zhukov Academy of Aerospace Defense. Recently he served in units based in Stavropol. Twice participated in the military operation in Syria, has military awards.

Condolences to the family of the serviceman were expressed by the governor of the Tver region Igor Rudenya.

– Andrei Aleksandrovich gave his life fighting for peace and prosperity of our Fatherland during a special operation in Ukraine. As a real officer, he fulfilled his military duty to the end, showing outstanding courage and professionalism, loyalty to the Motherland, – said the head of the region.

The farewell ceremony for Andrei Lutsko was held at the Military Academy of Aerospace Defense named after Marshal of the Soviet Union Georgy Zhukov, followed by a funeral service at the Resurrection Cathedral in Tver and a funeral rally at the Dmitrov-Cherkassky cemetery.
