Fighter Alexander Volozhanin from Chelyabinsk, who received combat wounds and lost an eye during a special operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, is being discharged from a military hospital. Volozhanin said that after being discharged, he would go to a military unit located in the city of Grozny.

“Three months have passed for my treatment for combat wounds in the clinic of the military medical academy named after S. M. Kirov. I finish treatment and they discharge me. Now I have passed the military medical commission and I will go to Grozny to my military unit, ”Volozhanin wrote on his page on VKontakte.

While in the hospital, Volozhanin previously wrote that the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, had assembled a regiment that would go to liberate Kyiv from nationalists. The Chelyabinsk leader of the Sober Yards movement also stated that he was going to go there with his comrades-in-arms after treatment.

Volozhanin calls himself a fighter of the Chechen assault detachment named after Kadyrov. In May, he was seriously wounded in the head by shelling from a Ukrainian tank. The shell exploded five meters from the Chelyabinsk citizen and one of the fragments flew into his head. This happened when trying to install the flag of Russia and the Chechen Republic on the highest building in Severodonetsk.

Doctors from a military hospital in Rostov-on-Don removed a three-centimeter fragment from the head of a Chelyabinsk citizen. Doctors called it a miracle that Volozhanin survived. Despite a successful operation, the Chelyabinsk citizen lost his right eye.

Russia launched a special operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine on February 24 this year. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that its goal is to protect the inhabitants of Donbass from the genocide of neo-Nazis.
