Cyberpunk: Edgerunners showrunner Rafal Yaki has posted some beautiful fan art on social media that depicts a “what if..?” scenario. in one of which David and Lucy marry each other on the moon. Fans of the series will know that this happy ending is a far cry from what ends up happening on the show.
Over the course of 10 episodes, the anime explores the couple’s relationship and this fan art represents many of the themes present in the series.
Since its release, Cyberpunk Edgerunners has continued to dominate the minds of anime and game fans. Netflix anime fans have praised the visuals created by Studio Trigger as well as the characters, theme, and overall plot. With the recent announcement of the DLC, Phantom Liberty, the game is recovering a lot of good karma from many players. There’s no official word yet on the second season of Edgerunners or a release date for the DLC, but fans are excited about any other content from the Cyberpunk universe.
